Dear Senator Brown

I’m glad to see that you are getting back in the fight.  I’m also concerned that you will lean upon the Old Guard “tried and true” rhetoric and strategy.  If you do that, you will lose—an observation of the current political environment and climate on the ground amongst the most vulnerable populations.

During the 2024 campaigns, the Republicans used what I am to attack you and you didn’t challenge the attack.  They used the most vulnerable of people, namely the Transgender Community, as the terrible monsters and named you as supporting us as the reason to boot you from office.  You could have stood up and used their bigotry against them and pointed out that when they were finished coming after us, they would come after every other vulnerable population.  You folded, instead.  You could have heated up your campaign, instead you let them snuff your fire out.

I want to support you, but I can’t unless you are willing, with the fury of God, to fight for me and every minority community:  Black, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, Transgender especially, Asian, Muslim, Poor People, Women, Immigrants, Hardworking people who can’t get ahead because Oligarchs and Authoritarians are now in control of our government.

Take a page from Bernie Saunders and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.  Be aggressive, be a warrior and take up arms against the Republican Elites who are turning our country into a fascist state.

You can’t work the way you used to.  The old style of campaigning won’t work anymore.  If you want to win you need to step out from behind the podium and batter down the Republican Party as hard as you can.

If you want my vote, this is what you must do.  Don’t throw me under the bus.
